Well, my teaching sabbatical is drawing to a close and, after a great deal of deliberation, I have accepted a permanent post at Medicine Hat College in lovely rural Alberta. My tenure there begins 1 July and so I am relatively busy planning the move.
My plan for the blog hasn’t change dramatically; except for frequency… A lot has gone on in the philosophical world in the last 8 months that I have not commented upon; I have my work cut out for me.

Congrats on the new position!
I look forward to more blog posts, as well.
(Who doesn’t like lolcats?)
But… what will you teach?
What I’ve always taught: how to think well. MHC teaches all of the 1st and 2nd year phil courses that UCalgary has on the books (they use the same Calendar descriptions for easy transfer of credits). Since I am the only philosopher there; I can more or less pick and choose what gets taught.
King of the castle.
I apologise for this, profusely.

Glad to hear you’re going to be moving back in-province. I’m interested to see what you’re going to do to those poor first-year students taking philosophy of… well, anything, at this point.
