Why Hate Philosophy

Brains: The Unreliability of Introspection
It still boggles me that there remains this bipolar view of introspection: that either it is reliable or it is unreliable. This view is predicated on the idea that first-person utterances like ‘I am in pain’ are reports of introspections.
